2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- When you book a call: your name, email address, website, company and anything you choose to tell us in the booking form.
- When you contact us: your name, email address and the contents of your message.
- When you become a client: billing details and the information needed to deliver our services, such as access to analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile, advertising accounts or your website. You grant this access and can remove it at any time.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, time on site, referring website, approximate location (city or country), device and browser type. This is collected through Google Analytics and Squarespace's own analytics.
- Security data: information used by Google reCAPTCHA to protect forms from spam.
Information from public sources
- Before a Growth Opportunity Call, and when we contact businesses we think we can help, we may review publicly available business information, such as your website, search results, AI assistant answers, Google Business Profile, reviews and public social media pages. We don't need logins for this, and we don't change anything.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- respond to inquiries and prepare for and hold calls you book
- provide, manage and report on our services
- send proposals, invoices and service updates
- contact businesses about services that may be relevant to them (you can opt out at any time; see section 7)
- understand how our website is used and improve it
- protect our website and forms from spam and misuse
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Service providers we use
We share information only with providers that help us run our business, and only as far as they need it:
- website hosting and analytics (Squarespace, Google Analytics)
- spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA)
- email, documents and video calls (Google Workspace)
- call booking (Calendly)
- invoicing and payments (Wise)
- website fonts (Adobe Fonts).
These providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where we work with contractors (for example, a member of our team based outside your country), they can access client information only as needed for the work and must keep it confidential.
5. AI tools
We use AI tools to help with research, analysis and drafting. People on our team review the work and make the decisions. We don't enter client account credentials into AI tools, and we choose tools and settings that don't use your confidential information to train public models.
6. Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, spam protection and analytics (Google Analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
7. Marketing emails
If we email you about our services, every message will say who we are and include a simple way to opt out. If you ask us to stop, we will. You can also contact us to unsubscribe at any time.
8. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above:
- inquiry and booking details: up to 24 months after our last contact
- client records: for the length of the engagement, plus as long as tax and accounting law requires
- analytics data: Google Analytics keeps user-level data for up to [14] months; aggregated, non-identifying reports may be kept longer.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, including access controls, two-factor authentication on business accounts and least-privilege access to client platforms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take care to protect what you share with us.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you
- correct it
- ask us to delete it
- object to or restrict certain uses, including direct marketing
- complain to a privacy regulator.
This includes rights under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, the Australian Privacy Principles, the EU/UK GDPR and US state privacy laws, where they apply. To make a request, use our contact page. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You can also contact your local regulator, for example Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Department or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
11. Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it was last changed.
